What We Do
Feel to Heal Psychology, is a Canberra based neurodiversity-affirming clinic and we believe that real healing starts with feeling. Before change can happen, there needs to be space to pause, notice, and sit with emotions—without rushing, fixing, or forcing.
We provide that space. A warm, safe environment built on authentic connection, where diversity is celebrated, and clients are empowered to grow in their own way and their own pace.
We work with people of all ages and walks of life. While we’re trained professionals, we also show up as humans—bringing genuine care, curiosity, and connection into the therapy room. No matter your journey, we’re here to walk alongside you—with respect, compassion, and an understanding that every brain, and every story, is different.
Why We Do It
Our director, Nic, founded Feel to Heal Psychology in July 2022, as a way to ease back into work following maternity leave. However, being the social being she is; working alone just was not cutting it, so she and our business manager, Dylan, decided to take the plunge and go big! Nic’s vision was to create a space where you can ‘come as you are’ – not just as a client, but as staff as well. To create a family feel that prioritises self-care, work/life balance and collaboration with all staff to make Feel to Heal the best it can be.
We do this work because we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, understood, and accepted—just as they are. Too often, people are told to “fix” themselves before they’re allowed to be seen. At Feel to Heal, we flip that script. We know that true healing and growth start when people feel their feelings, embrace their differences, and are met with compassion, not judgment.
Our passion is creating spaces where neurodivergent and neurotypical people alike can feel valued, connected, and empowered to thrive. Second to this, we strive to look for new and innovative ways to fill the gaps we see in the Canberra support network by creating new group programs, seminars, workshops, and resources to do what we can.
Who We Are
At Feel to Heal Psychology, we’re a heart-led, down-to-earth team of clinicians and support staff who care deeply about the work we do. We bring our unique experiences and perspectives, but share one approach: honour the whole person, prioritise emotional safety, and support growth in your own time.
Whether you’re seeking help for your child, navigating life changes, or reconnecting with yourself, you’ll be met with genuine care and respect.
Our Space
Our goal is to provide a warm, cosy, space without that ‘clinical’ feel so that you can feel right at home! With toys for the kids, coffee and tea for the parents, and a beautiful fish tank to soothe any nerves, we welcome you to Feel to Heal!
